Troubleshooting is a generic SKU that covers all electronics we deal with at TEK -AV. Whether it be home theatre, networking, automation or beyond we have decades of experience across many areas among our team.
Troubleshooting covers us sending a professional technician, with experience related to the issue you are having, on site. The technician will look at and, if possible within reasonable limits, repair your malfunctioning electronic device(s).
Exactly what you get with our Troubleshooting SKU;
-One technician on site for up to one and a half hour.
-Determination of the cause of your issue.
-Repair if possible within the time frame and with materials on hand.
-If the problem is with a piece of equipment that we can replace out of our truck stock on site we will tell you the cost of that equipment and with your consent install it, billing you afterward.
-If repair is not possible for any reason we will leave you with several suggestions on how to move forward including a no obligation quote that includes us obtaining the necessary parts and doing the repair work.
-If repair work takes us beyond an hour and a half additional time is billed at a rate of $40 per half hour for a single tech or $60 for two.
Moving a television over 43" in size, or any other piece of equipment or furniture over 50 lbs will require a second technician on site. For insurance reasons we can't ask for or accept your assistance so if you think a second technician will be necessary please notify us.
